Jan Siewert: Who is the new Huddersfield Town boss?
Huddersfield have taken a familiar route in their quest to fill their managerial vacancy heading to Borussia Dortmund's second team, just as they did for David Wagner, to appoint Jan Siewert. But just who is the German?
Managerial experience
Managed semi-professional side Rot-Weiss Essen from June 2015 but was sacked just nine months into a three-year contract with the side in the relegation zone. Has since worked as assistant manager of Germany's Under-17 and Under 18 national teams before becoming Bochum's first-team assistant and Under-19 coach.
Success at Bochum saw him appointed manager of Borussia Dortmund's second team where he led them to a fourth-placed finish in Regionalliga West.
At 36, he is now the youngest manager in the Premier League after replacing compatriot Wagner as Town's manager.
Playing experience
Played as a defensive midfielder for hometown club Mayen, who are currently in the sixth tier of German football.
