Swansea v QPR

The transfer window was an unsettling time for several Championship clubs but QPR are delighted with the business they've done.

Seven new signings have arrived at Loftus Road and the Hoops' squad now appears to have more depth and quality than it did at the end of last term.

Crucially, key attackers Ilias Chair and Chris Willock have been retained and both head to face Swansea on Saturday full of confidence after getting on the scoresheet in last Saturday's 3-2 success at Watford and Tuesday's 3-1 victory at home to Hull.

With Chair and Willock playing close to the peak of their considerable powers QPR are going to be a tough proposition, and fourth-bottom Swansea may not be up to the task.

Swansea were pleased to hang on to forwards Michael Obafemi and Joel Piroe on deadline day, but they are without a win in four and yet to register a home win this season.

The Swans are persisting with Russell Martin's preferred possession-based style but they were picked off by Luton in their last home game – losing 2-0 – and may suffer a similar fate this weekend.

Cambridge v Lincoln

Cambridge are looking forward to another positive League One campaign after retaining several key players on deadline day and they can edge close to the promotion picture with a home win over Lincoln.

It will be a tough ask for Cambridge to push for the playoffs in a division where so many clubs have much bigger budgets, but they look well equipped to build on last season's 14th-place finish and approach the weekend with a 100 per cent home record.

Mark Bonner's side have beaten MK Dons (1-0), Exeter (2-1) and Burton (4-3) at the Abbey Stadium and have an excellent chance against Lincoln, who were weakened by the deadline-day sale of attacker Anthony Scully to Wigan.

Matty Virtue has been arrived on loan from Blackpool to boost the Imps' midfield options, but they were beaten 4-0 at Peterborough on their last League One road trip and another fruitless awayday looks on the cards.

Exeter v MK Dons

MK Dons had a busy summer, bringing in nine permanent signings and four loans, but their performances are steadily improving and they have every chance of victory at mid-table Exeter.

The promoted Grecians have adapted well to League One life but could be undone by the Dons, who have taken seven points from their last three games.

Stockport v Wimbledon

National League champions Stockport were expected to compete towards the top end of League Two but they have taken just four points from six games and may struggle to overcome Wimbledon at Edgeley Park.

County will be without suspended striker Paddy Madden and could find it tough against the Wombles, who look potent in attack with Josh Davison forging a useful partnership with Brentford loanee Nathan Young-Coombes.
