Expect heavy scoring on Centurion wicket

Talented batsmen could shine for South Africa and India

India captain Virat Kohli has scored 429 runs in the first five ODIs

South Africa captain Faf du Plessis started the one-day series with a century but it was trumped by his opposite number Virat Kohli, whose 112 helped India to a six-wicket win in Durban.

Batsmen on both sides should be looking forward to the second ODI in Centurion, where the Proteas have won their last six completed 50-over matches.

Most of those have been high-scoring affairs and in the last five ODIs at the venue there have been ten individual hundreds, seven of which were scored by home openers Quinton de Kock and Hashim Amla.

Bet365's total runs line of 555.5 looks low given that the last five games featured tallies of 591, 588, 637, 589 and 680.

The first match of the series featured only 539 as South Africa's middle-order were tied up by India's spinners Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal but they are unlikely to have as much success at Centurion.
