Danish Superliga: Brondby v Midtjylland betting preview, tips & odds

Midtjylland lifted the Danish Cup after a penalty shootout success over Brondby on Friday but face a tricky challenge when visiting the same opposition in a Danish league match.

Second place is assured for Midtjylland and there is more riding on the contest for fifth-placed Brondby, who can justify favouritism as they chase a guaranteed Europa League spot.

The gap between fifth-placed Brondby, who have two games left, and Odense, who have one game remaining, is six points but the door to European football is still ajar.

There is a slight goal difference advantage in Brondby's favour and that will come into play if they defeat Midtjylland and win at Odense on Saturday.

Securing back-to-back victories is asking a lot of Brondby, who haven't won successive league games since December, but they can take the first step by exacting swift revenge for their cup final defeat.
