Match preview

Newly-crowned Scottish champions Rangers claimed a valuable 1-1 draw away to Slavia Prague but there is still work to be done if Steven Gerrard's side are to reach the Europa League quarter-finals.

Slavia are almost as dominant domestically as Rangers, with 19 wins and four draws in their 23 games in the Czech league this season, and they won a cup tie 10-3 earlier this month.

More relevant to the trip to Ibrox is their impressive 2-0 second-leg victory at Leicester in the last 32 and Rangers needed a brilliant late save from Allan McGregor to earn a draw in the first leg.

McGregor's stop denied backers of over 2.5 goals in Prague but there should be plenty of entertainment in the return fixture.

The Gers beat Royal Antwerp 9-5 on aggregate in the last 32 and six of Slavia's last seven away matches in the Europa League have produced over 3.5 goals.
