England are a best-priced 5-1 to win Euro 2020 after sealing qualification for the finals with a 7-0 mauling of Montenegro at Wembley on Thursday.

Star forward Raheem Sterling, 6-1 to win PFA Player of the Year, was left out of the team for disciplinary reasons but England’s forwards flourished nonetheless.

Harry Kane, who is 7-1 for the Premier League golden boot, netted a first-half hat-trick to move up to sixth in England's list of leading scorers and he is 1-5 with Ladbrokes to surpass Wayne Rooney’s tally of 53 strikes for the national team.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, a 10-1 shot to score first, opened the scoring 11 minutes into his first England start for 18 months, while goals from Marcus Rashford and Tammy Abraham and an own goal from Aleksandar Sofranac completed the rout in England's 1,000th match.

France remain marginal market leaders in the outright betting for next summer's European Championship at 9-2, although some firms go 7-2, while Belgium (7-1), Spain (8-1), Holland (8-1) and Germany (9-1) are also in the mix.

Ireland warmed up for Monday's crucial Euro 2020 qualifier against Denmark with a 3-1 friendly success over New Zealand in Dublin.
