The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) is one of the world's top competitive E-Sports. Here's our guide to the latest round of the ESL Pro League.

CS:GO ESL Pro League overview

With various travel bans preventing the ESL Pro League group phase taking place in Malta, the latest season of the competition has been moved completely online.

The teams in the league are divided into four sections - Europe's elite make up Group A, Group B and Group C while the best from the US compete in Group D.

The league begins with a simple round-robin stage across all four groups. Danish side Astralis are the favourites to win the league at 11-4 while Team Liquid are the shortest-priced American side in the outright market at 10-1.

Match previews

Season 11 of the ESL Pro League is less than one week old but already one of the fancied teams have work to do.

In Group B of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive competition, Ukrainians Natus Vincere lost their opening two matches 2-0 against North and early leaders BIG.

Only two of their players - s1mple (1.31) and electronic (1.22) - posted kill-death ratios above one on the first map of their opening game - but they remain 7-2 to win the league and can get points on the board by seeing off ForZe.

ForZe are as big as 66-1 in the outright market but started their campaign with a battle-hardened 2-1 defeat of compLexity.

On the first map of that encounter all five players of the Russian side managed to maintain positive kill-death ratios and, although Natus Vincere are arguably a cut above them, they should fancy their chances of winning a map. Backing a 2-1 win for the Ukrainians could pay.

Last season's runners-up and two-time champions fnatic lock horns with North, who lost their second match, in the same section.

Fnatic lost their first match to BIG but still won 35 rounds in that contest and Brollan starred for them on map two with 25 kills. They beat compLexity in their second outing and should come out on top.
