Draw against Everton could be enough to keep Huddersfield in Premier League

Southampton look poor favourites against Bournemouth

Huddersfield players celebrate their win over Watford
1 of 1

What’s your best bet for the weekend?
Huddersfield v Everton draw. One more win will keep Huddersfield up though one more point could well be good enough. And their run-in is a brute. I don’t think they can afford to take risks today with Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal still to play and they will shut up shop if it’s all-square with 20 minutes to go. Everton have offered very little for weeks.

Which favourites look the most vulnerable?
Southampton at home to Bournemouth. If Saints were going to stay up they needed performances against the likes of Newcastle, West Ham and Leicester and that didn’t happen. So there’s no reason to think they should see off Bournemouth at a tense St Mary’s where the crowd can get restless quickly. A lack of goals makes Saints easy to oppose at short odds.

Who should Arsenal appoint to replace Arsene Wenger?
Brendan Rodgers, Rafa Benitez or Patrick Vieira. Rodgers or Benitez would improve them which makes them strong contenders. Vieira is more of an unknown but would usher in an exciting new era at the Emirates. The place would erupt with him back in charge. He’s highly regarded as a coach, very clever and adopts a style that’s easy on the eye.

Who wins the Serie A title – Juventus or Napoli?
Looking at the fixtures, you’ve got to think Napoli. They are absolutely buzzing after their 1-0 win at Juventus to cut the gap to one point. Juve have to win at Inter today because they’ve still got to go to Roma, whereas Napoli’s run-in is appreciably less difficult.

What are your early thoughts on the FA Cup final?
I’d probably err towards Manchester United. They just keep finding a way of winning matches – and trophies – without ever really playing that well. In the semis they beat Spurs from 1-0 down. They weren’t at their best but they managed to bring out the worst from Tottenham. Being able to frustrate more talented sides is a skill in itself.

Real Madrid to beat Bayern. What an extraordinary side Real are – they just aren’t fazed by any challenge. They won’t, in terms of style and panache, be kindly compared to the Galacticos, but if they can win three straight Champions Leagues, in terms of achievement they’ll eclipse that side. They weren’t at their best in Munich but looked the complete team.
