Don't expect Rangers to dominate Dundee
BT Sport 1, 7.45pm Friday
Rangers should edge a tight encounter when they visit rock-bottom Dundee this evening.
The Ibrox side seem determined to drag out their new managerial appointment for as long as possible, but caretaker boss Graeme Murty’s slim chances of getting the gig surely evaporated after last week’s horrific 2-0 home loss to Hamilton.
Dundee boss Neil McCann isn’t faring any better, although he has maintained the tide will turn soon.
Rangers tend to dominate large spells of games but usually struggle to turn that possession into goals.
With that in mind, backing a low-scoring away win looks best.
Rangers & under 3.5 goals
1pt 6-4 general
Captain Darren O’Dea is absent while fellow defender Kerr Waddell is a major doubt for the hosts.
Lee Wallace, Graham Dorrans and Jordan Rossiter are out. Bruno Alves and Lee Hodson are carrying knocks.
Dundee have netted two or more goals at home in only two league games this season
