Inconsistency could be key for Peterborough

Barnsley also worth a punt

Peterborough could be celebrating a win
1 of 1

English Football League
Kick-offs from 7.45pm Tuesday

Peterborough's wonderful inconsistency might just make them a team to side with in Skybet League One action.

Posh are off to Charlton on the back of a pitiful defeat at Rochdale on Saturday, a performance that earned his team a royal rocket from furious boss Grant McCann.

McCann, though, suggests his team are far more likely to be on top of their game at The Valley against a top-six outfit, which is a pretty awful confession but can be borne out by the fact that they’ve beaten high-fliers Wigan and Shrewsbury this season.

At the very least they look worth a nibble with the draw out of the equation.

In the Championship, there doesn’t look much to choose between Reading and Barnsley who meet at the Madejski. Neither side have won in three, and again the visitors are worth a punt with the draw no bet.
