Difficult to give home side a little respect for EurAsia

Heavy away win seems on the cards

Matthew Fitzpatrick ended last year in great nick

Sky Sports Golf, 3.30am Friday

Bookmaker apathy towards the EurAsia Cup has relented a little, with a correct-score market arriving on the scene, and additional top-scorer betting.

Bet365 and Sky Bet are laying bets on the correct score, while bet365 have joined BoyleSports with a top overall points scorer market. These are the most appealing punting opportunities, with a heavy European success anticipated and a European highly likely to be the leading scorer.

The action starts at Glenmarie Country Club at 12.30am on Friday morning, with six fourballs matches. Six foursomes will follow on Saturday, with 12 singles on Sunday. A 4-2 fourballs victory for Europe could be followed by a 5-1 foursomes romp, before an 8-4 singles success. That would add up to a 17-7 scoreline.

The 17-7 Europe scoreline is 20-1 with Sky Bet, who also offer an attractive handicap price of 3-1 about Europe minus 8.5 points. Betfair and Power go 15-8 Europe minus 5.5 points for more cautious punters.
