Sky Sports Golf, 10am Thursday

Dean Burmester will be licking his lips at the Albatross Resort this week, tackling a course which is made for his talents, and the South African slugger can be fancied to win his Czech Masters first-round threeball against David Howell and Scott Jamieson.

Burmester, 12th at Wentworth at the end of May, 56th on his Major debut in the US Open, and ninth in the Scottish Open in his last start, has become a force to be reckoned with overseas and his progressive Albatross form of 35-14 should be improved upon.

Czech Masters outright preview

Howell is in the twilight of his career and has little to offer, while Jamieson, who endured a miserable pair of 75s at the weekend in the Nordea Masters, will probably also be lacking sparkle in the 11.35am match.
