Rob Cross is a narrow favourite to claim his first TV title since winning the 2018 World Championship and Voltage looks worth a bet to oblige against Michael Smith.

Cross bosses the head-to-head 12-3 including comfortable wins in all three of their meetings in 2019.

Smith took advantage of a slow start from Glen Durrant to ease into the final, but Cross had to stage a monumental comeback to see off Daryl Gurney and he will be full of confidence after that.

Cross was roared on by the crowd as he repeatedly punished some dodgy doubling from the Northern Irishman, but he's unlikely to enjoy the same level of support against St Helens man Smith in Blackpool.

That shouldn't throw him off his stride though, and Bully Boy's quest for a first PDC premier event title looks set to go on.
