Premier League Darts predictions

It's the penultimate week of the Premier League darts regular season and the race for the final playoff spot reaches fever pitch in Aberdeen. Luke Littler, Luke Humphries and Gerwyn Price are already assure of a place at Finals Night at the O2 later this month, but the remaining top-four birth is up for grabs.

This competitions hasn't yielded much success for Stephen Bunting, who can't qualify for the O2 extravaganza, but the Bullet was victorious on Night Nine in Berlin and the Merseyside man made the final in Rotterdam on Night Eleven.

Bunting averaged 97.46 and 95.70 in matches against Chris Dobey and Luke Humphries in Leeds last Thursday and the second-half of the Premier League campaign has been more fruitful for the former Masters champion.

The Bullet is housed away from Littler and Humphries, who face each other in the quarter-finals in Aberdeen, and Bunting looks set to have a fierce Granite City crowd on side. The path looks clear for an each-way bet on the Merseyside man to win Night 15.

Rob Cross could average only 88.76 when losing 6-5 to Gerwyn Price in Leeds a week ago and that defeat to the Iceman made it five losses in the Kent arrowsmith's last six Premier League quarter-finals.

Dobey posted numbers of 99.43 in defeat to Bunting last time out and that 6-5 loss needed a stunning 121 deciding-leg finish to down Hollywood.

Littler and Humphries clash in a heavyweight quarter-final contest and Cool Hand can make it three Premier League victories on the bounce against the Nuke.

Littler has blown a little hot and cold in recent weeks and Humphries has been the more consistent performer.

The Newbury thrower has averaged scores of at least 100 in four of his last seven Premier League matches and the former world champ may have the edge over the current world champion in Aberdeen.
