Webster v Noppert
Dutch youngster Danny Noppert didn't get a chance to show what he can do against a clinical Daryl Gurney in his first match, but he's worth a bet to bounce back against Darren Webster.

Noppert, the Lakeside runner-up in January, watched Grand Prix champion Gurney hit five of his eight darts at a double and over a short format there's not much you can do against finishing like that.

Webster hit a 156 finish in a 5-3 defeat to his namesake Mark, but that was a rare highlight in a match in which he averaged just 86.

Veteran Webster is having one of his better years and reached the quarter-finals of the World Matchplay in July but he could be the wrong favourite for this.

Lennon v Hughes
Irish qualifier Steve Lennon put up a brave effort in defeat to Gerwyn Price on day one at Wolverhampton and similar form should be enough against Jamie Hughes.

Local boy Yozza has been a Lakeside semi-finalist for the last two years but his confidence may have taken a knock after he was outclassed by Raymond van Barneveld on day one.

Twenty-three year-old Lennon earned his tour card on the third day of PDC Q-school and showed potential against Price, hitting three of his six double chances.

Van Barneveld v Price
Raymond van Barneveld lost the first leg of his opening encounter with Jamie Hughes but hit back with five legs in a row to win. He looks a little short in the betting against Gerwyn Price, though.

The pair have met twice this year, sharing the honours, and Price averaged 102.8 in his opening success over Steve Lennon.

A repeat of that performance would make odds of 13-8 look pretty big in a match against the 2012 Grand Slam champion.
