Australian Darts Masters predictions

The PDC has hot-tailed it down under for the last two World Series qualifiers, the first of which takes place in Wollongong, New South Wales, this weekend.

The Australian Darts Masters is the sixth World Series event of the 2025 calendar with the seventh in New Zealand taking place next weekend.

Recently-crowned World Matchplay champion Luke Littler is the favourite for the Aussie title and he certainly looked ridiculously good in Blackpool.

Interestingly, The Nuke has yet to reach any of this season's five World Series finals, hence why he is seeded a relatively lowly number four at the WIN Entertainment Centre.

Stephen Bunting, who has won two of the five and been runner-up in a couple more, is the top seed with Gerwyn Price and Luke Humphries at two and three.

Claims can be made for all four in this 16-man event which pits eight PDC big guns against eight local stars in round one, among them the evergreen Simon Whitlock.

The name which jumps off the coupon as an alternative to Littler, though, has to be Josh Rock at 8-1.

Rocky is making his World Series debut but has crossed the globe on a high after partnering Daryl Gurney to World Cup glory and then producing some sparkling tungsten in reaching the Matchplay semis.

The tournament is being shown on ITV4 but the coverage is delayed.
