Danilo Petrucci primed for pole position at Czech GP
Marc Marquez off the pace in practice
Czech Grand Prix qualifying
BT Sport 2, 1.10pm
It took bookmakers longer than usual to come up with prices for Czech Grand Prix qualifying and that's probably no surprise given the mixed messages produced by Friday's practice sessions.
Some big names were well off the pace in the afternoon action at Brno with championship leader Marc Marquez, winner of the last two races in the Netherlands and Germany, down in tenth place - but still ahead of fellow big guns Andrea Iannone (11th), Cal Crutchlow (14th) and Jorge Lorenzo (15th).
Dani Pedrosa, looking for his first pole of what will be his final MotoGP campaign, topped the times from Danilo Petrucci and Alvaro Bautista with Andrea Dovizioso, Maverick Vinales and Valentino Rossi in fifth, sixth and seventh. Morning pacesetter Johann Zarco dropped to ninth.
Lorenzo promised to make "radical changes" to his bike for qualifying day, but the safe bet seems to be to side with riders who have already shown they can be up with the pace.
Petrucci is another who has yet to take pole this season but it may not be far away. His second place on the grid at the last race was the third time he has made the top three in qualifying and he has been lower than sixth on Saturday only once in the last five races.
Marquez is odds-on for pole but Petrucci has been respectfully made third favourite for qualifying by bet365 and the Ducati man is worth a small interest.
