Czechs no match for Roma in Eternal City
Wolves' morale must have been lifted by Saturday win over Lazio
BT Sport Extra, 8pm Tuesday
There had been speculation Eusebio Di Francesco was on the verge of the sack before Roma beat city rivals Lazio 3-1 on Saturday, a result which will have lifted morale no end.
It was far from a perfect performance, particularly defensively, but Roma got the job done and they also put four past Frosinone last week.
That clean sheet was only Roma’s second of the season and the Wolves were breached three times by Real Madrid on matchday one.
Plzen are no Real Madrid, although they did score twice in a draw with CSKA Moscow two weeks ago.
However, they have lost their last two away games by an aggregate of 7-0 against Slavia (4-0) and Jablonec (3-0).
Roma to win & over 2.5 goals
1pt 5-6 general
Roma Javier Pastore and Diego Perotti are out, while Daniele De Rossi is doubtful.
Viktoria Plzen Midfielder Jan Kopic is injured.
Ten different Roma players have scored for the Wolves this season.
