Croatia v Nigeria: Croatia backed to win World Cup Group D clash
Latest team news & prices
Kaliningrad ITV 8pm
Croatia have named an attacking starting 11 which has got the thumbs-up from punters with the favourites supported to make a winning start in Group D.
Ivan Rakitic is alongside Luka Modric in midfield allowing Ante Rebic and Andrej Kramaric to feature with Mario Mandzukic.
Getting Modric back into his best position - he had been expected to be a number ten - should allow Croatia to dictate play and those not already involved should consider backing the Europeans to beat an ordinarily-looking Nigerian side.
Croatia 4-2-3-1: Subasic; Vrsaljko, Lovren, Vida, Strinic; Rakitic, Modric; Rebic, Kramaric, Perisic; Mandzukic.
Nigeria (4-2-3-1): Uzoho; Idowu, Ekong, Balogun, Shehu; Ndidi, Etebo; Moses, Mikel, Iwobi; Ighalo.
Best morning odds
4-5 Croatia, 9-2 Nigeria, 11-4 draw.
7-10 Croatia, 5-1 Nigeria, 14-5 draw.
Croatia -0.75 Asian handicap
