South Africa v Sri Lanka: Fifth One-Day International betting preview and tip
Quinton de Kock can continue purple patch for Proteas
Sky Sports Cricket & Main Event 11am Saturday
Sri Lanka’s capitulation in their one-day international series against South Africa has seen coach Chandika Hathurusingha asked to return home for talks before the World Cup and the Proteas can capitalise on disharmony in the opposing camp.
They lead the five-match series 4-0 and are as short as 1-5 to complete the whitewash.
Pace bowlers have been central to South Africa’s success of late but it has been all about commanding performances at the crease in this series and Quinton de Kock has starred with scores of 81, 94, 121 and 51.
He is supported by Faf du Plessis and duo Aiden Markram and JP Duminy, who scored 29 and 31 not out on their return to the team, but backing De Kock to reach the half-century mark could be the best punting strategy.
