Preview

Delhi Capitals will look to continue their red-hot run in the Indian Premier League when they take on Rajasthan Royals in the first fixture of the weekend but the better betting opportunity could come in the clash between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings.

The Sunrisers and the Kings have won only four IPL contests between them in 2021 and neither represent value in the match result market.

But the Kings could be even worse off than their current position of seventh if it were not for the batting duo of KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal.

The pair have been close to the division's leading runscorer Shikhar Dhawan for much of the season with 707 runs between them in eight innings.

And little has changed since the season's hiatus with Rahul scoring 49 and Agarwal making 67 against Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday.

With that in mind and given that Sunrisers opener David Warner marked his return to action with a duck on Wednesday, Punjab Kings could be a great bet to have the highest opening partnership in this encounter.
