Cricket bettors have a feast of action to get stuck into on Sunday with two televised IPL matches, live Test cricket from Barbados and six One-Day Cup games on offer.

The best bet of the day could come in the second of the IPL matches as leaders Kolkata head to champions Hyderabad.

With the hosts also well in the mix to finish top of the league ladder, this heavyweight tussle has could go a long way to shaping the make-up of the playoffs.

However, ready preference is for the Knight Riders who, on the evidence so far, appear the league’s class act.

Thursday’s comfortable seven-wicket victory over Delhi – in which they chased down 161 with four overs to spare – was their sixth victory in seven outings.

In skipper Gautam Gambhir and Robin Uthappa they have two of the competition’s form batsman and while Hyderabad have won all four of their games on home soil, those were all against the sides who currently sit in the bottom four. Kolkata will provide a much stiffer test.

Somerset produced a minor miracle to recover from 22-5 to chase down 291 against Surrey in their One-Day Cup opener and they can make it two wins from two against Sussex at Hove.

The Sussex attack were hit for 341 by Middlesex in their rain-affected opener and could be put to the sword again by the Cidermen.

Pakistan are 4-7 to complete a clean sweep of series triumphs on their tour of the West Indies with victory in the sides’ second Test match in Bridgetown.
