The men’s 200m butterfly is going to be epic with world-record holder Michael Phelps, reigning world champion Laszlo Cseh and London 2012 gold medallist Chad Le Clos facing off in an event that has regularly seen tiny margins separate the trio.

Cseh is the favourite courtesy of having comfortably the fastest time this year but seven of his eight world or Olympic silvers have come behind either Phelps or Le Clos and the younger South African is taken to come out on top at 4-1. Le Clos has been the dominant force in the fly for the majority of this Olympic cycle and has youth on his side.
