Leicestershire v Birmingham
TV: Sky Sports Cricket/Main Event, 6.30pm Wednesday

Birmingham Bears tied with Yorkshire Vikings in their last Twenty20 Blast assignment and spectators will be hoping for as gripping an encounter when they take on Leicestershire in front of the TV cameras.

Yorkshire had been on 131-1 as they tried to chase down a total of 177 but a middle-order collapse left top scorer Tom Kohler-Cadmore needing two off the final ball and he struck just a single.

Given the circumstances it was a good result for the Bears but they have won only two of their opening six matches in the competition.

Prior to that match, they allowed Nottinghamshire Outlaws to post 184 and Northamptonshire Steelbacks to score 155 and their bowlers will have to bowl tightly to limit the damage inflicted by Leicestershire's Colin Ackermann.

The Foxes skipper tends to go off at a decent price to top-score for his side due to coming in lower down the order but no Leicestershire player has scored more runs than Ackermann (220) in this year's competition.

He scored 58 - the highest total of any Foxes player - the last time his side played at home and Ackermann could be value to repeat the feat against the Bears.

Somerset are blessed with one of the fiercest batting contingents in this year's Blast and they look value to win at Essex Eagles.

They lost to Middlesex last time out but only by virtue of an explosive 35-ball 88 from AB De Villiers. With players like Tom Banton (256 runs) and Babar Azam (267) at the top of their order, Somerset should be able to get back on track.
