Oval Invincibles vs London Spirit preview 

The Oval Invincibles remain in the hunt for a third successive Hundred title but while they have already qualified for the knockout stages there is still work to be done.

In each of their previous successes the Invincibles topped the regular-season table to progress straight to the final and they will probably need a win over the London Spirit in their final group game on Monday to accomplish that again, avoiding the eliminator between the teams who finish second and third.

The hosts are already assured of a top-three finish but a sixth win in eight games would put the pressure on chasing pair the Northern Superchargers and Trent Rockets, who finish their campaigns over the next two days.

The South London side came up short after their bowlers were overpowered by Harry Brook and the Superchargers at Headingley on Saturday, losing by 16 runs after the home side posted a daunting 198-4.

They fared much better with the ball when these teams met in the opening game of the competition, though, skittling the Spirit for just 80 at Lord's and cruising home with 31 balls to spare.

The Invincibles will be looking to not only win but boost their net run-rate too if possible and they should finish as they started with a victory over their neighbours.

The franchises' women's sides meet earlier in the day and the fourth-placed Spirit look the right favourites against an already-eliminated Invincibles side who have lost three in a row.
