Oval Invincibles are hunting a third straight Hundred title, and only two teams stand in their way - Northern Superchargers and Trent Rockets.

The pair meet in the Eliminator with a spot against the Invincibles in the final at stake.

The Rockets were the only team to keep pace with the defending champions in the group stage, winning six of their eight games, including a five-wicket victory over the Superchargers in the process.

They have a well balanced team and Rehan Ahmed has been a particular standout, making 189 runs and taking ten wickets.

He took 2-23 and made 31 runs when these two sides met earlier in the campaign and is likely to be crucial to the Rockets’ chances once again.

The Superchargers put in a dismal performance in their seven-wicket defeat to Manchester Originals in their final group game and it may prove difficult to regroup following that disappointment.

There seems to be an overreliance on Zak Crawley, Dawid Malan and Harry Brook, whereas the Rockets bat deeper. That should be enough to see the 2022 champions progress to the final.
