In-form Johnson to make his mark
ATP Winston Salem Open
The final Grand Slam of 2016, the US Open, is just eight days away and, while the majority of this week’s field will not be expected to make much of an impact in New York, they will certainly have designs on landing the Winston-Salem Open title.
The market is wide open. Betfred go 15-2 the field with Frenchman Richard Gasquet heading the betting but the man who makes the most appeal is Steve Johnson.
The American landed his first ATP Tour title at Nottingham’s Aegon Open in June and he looks ready to register a first victory on home turf after a number of strong performances in recent weeks.
