Kyle Edmund has been difficult to get right on hard courts this season, but the improving Briton may be worth chancing in his China Open first-round clash with Guillermo Garcia-Lopez today.

Clay has not been a problem for Edmund, who possesses some fine groundstrokes and looks sure to continue climbing up the rankings.
