Kent Spitfires are in irresistible form in the Twenty20 Blast with three wins from three at the top of the South Group and they look overpriced to claim the scalp of Surrey.

They have chalked up comprehensive wins over Somerset (by 41 runs), Hampshire (by two wickets) and Essex (by 22 runs) and will be hopeful of emulating their victory in the corresponding fixture at the Oval last year.

Joe Denly starred with bat and ball on that occasion but there has been no reliance on key individuals for the Spitfires this season, with none of their players having yet reached 100 runs in the tournament.

There has been more consistency in the bowling department, however, in which the same five players have been deployed with the ball in each of their matches.

Imran Qayyum has the most impressive stats having taken 5-21 against Somerset, but punters are instead advised to back a bowler who had a bitter-sweet World Cup.

Mohammad Nabi's Afghanistan finished rock bottom of the standings in the one-day international tournament but he was their top wicket-taker with ten scalps and has made a steady start to the Blast.

He has had figures of 0-29, 1-21 and 1-24 and, although the wickets are not tumbling, he has been bowling economically and could make an impact in the opening overs at the Oval.

Recommendation
Kent

M Nabi top Kent wicket-taker
1pt 4-1 Hills
