Match previews

The final day of league matches in The Hundred begins with Northern Superchargers Women versus Southern Brave Women, who are hot favourites to seal their place in Saturday's final at Lord's with a sixth win from six matches this season.

If the Brave slip up at Headingley then Oval Invincibles Women could pip them to top spot by beating Manchester Originals but given the permutations it may be best to focus on the men's matches for early bets.

Northern Superchargers and Southern Brave are unable to qualify for the playoffs in the men's Hundred although the Superchargers will be keen to avoid a fourth straight home defeat at Headingley.

Their opening batsman Adam Lyth can cap an excellent personal campaign by top-scoring against a Brave bowling attack missing injured England pacemen Chris Jordan and Tymal Mills.

Lyth has been dismissed for two ducks in The Hundred this season but in his other five innings he scored 51, 79, 56, 46 and 47 and he also racked up 525 runs at a strike-rate of 177 during Yorkshire's run to T20 Blast Finals Day earlier in the summer.

Manchester Originals and Oval Invincibles meet at Old Trafford with a playoff place on the line and the Originals are worth backing to extend their four-game winning streak.

They lost captain Jos Buttler to injury after the second of those wins but Laurie Evans has led them to impressive victories over the Superchargers, when they posted a record total of 208-5, and Birmingham Phoenix, who were bowled out for just 75 by the Originals on Sunday.
