Preview

In-form Kolkata Knight Riders will look to make it three wins on the spin when they take on Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League in Sunday's early game before Mumbai Indians look to get back on track against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Mumbai can be a tricky team to follow from a punting perspective given they have won four and lost five of their nine IPL matches in 2021.

They have looked shaky since their return to action this month, losing to Chennai and Kolkata, but Rohit Sharma looked anything but rusty last time out.

The opening batsman was rested against Chennai but then fired 33 runs off 30 balls against the Knight Riders.

That took his tally to 283 runs in the competition this year and has followed a brilliant summer of cricket for the batsman with India.

The Twenty20 World Cup will be his priority in the coming months but punters should not fall into the trap of avoiding the obvious and should consider Sharma to top-score for the Indians against Bangalore in Dubai.
