England are 7-4 to win their four-Test series in South Africa after levelling the series with a 189-run second Test success on the final day in Cape Town.

Ben Stokes was England's hero as he took the final three wickets to break South Africa's resistance after a second innings which lasted 138 overs. His figures of 3-35 followed him taking five catches in the first innings and a crucial 72 in England's second knock.

Dominic Sibley's maiden Test century proved crucial as half-centuries from Pieter Malan and Quinton de Kock proved in vain for South Africa.

The hosts have been eased to 2-1 to take the series, but they have a strong record in Port Elizabeth, which will host the third Test starting on Thursday, January 16. The hosts have won five of the last seven Tests at St George's Park.

A series draw, as happened when England toured South Africa in 2009, is favourite with bookmakers at 13-8.
