Somerset faced a crucial fixture away to Gloucestershire on Friday in their pursuit of a top-four finish in the T20 Blast South Group but bookmakers have them down as home bankers against Glamorgan on Saturday.

The men from Taunton have been on the charge, winning five of their seven completed games before Friday's derby in Bristol, and openers Babar Azam and Tom Banton are among the leading runscorers in the competition.

Glamorgan's hopes of reaching the quarter-finals evaporated long ago and the winless Welsh county's only points have come from four washouts and a tie with Gloucestershire.

Their batting has disappointed in the Twenty20 competition but skipper Colin Ingram remains a class act on his day.

The former South Africa batsman started his campaign with an unbeaten 50 off just 28 balls against Somerset and top-scored with 41 against a star-studded Surrey bowling attack last time out.
