SOUTH AFRICA were 12-1 for a 5-0 whitewash of Australia at the start of their one-day series but the Proteas are just 8-11 to complete the rout in Cape Town today.

South Africa’s second-string bowling attack rolled over the Aussies for just 167 in the fourth ODI and they would take great pleasure in inflicting Australia’s first 5-0 one-day series defeat.

With the home side likely to shuffle their pack and the tourists looking jaded, stakes should be kept modest but Australia skipper Steve Smith will be desperate to restore some pride.
