After a disastrous opening to their IPL campaign that saw them lose their first six games, Bangalore have won three of their last four to keep alive their slim hopes of making the upcoming playoffs.

To make the final four they would probably have to win all of their remaining four outings but they have a great chance of continuing their unlikely revival against a Kings XI Punjab side going in the wrong direction.

While Bangalore have enjoyed an upturn in their fortunes, Ravi Ashwin's Kings XI have lost three of their last four to slip out of the top four which includes an eight-wicket defeat to Bangalore last week.

The hosts' star-studded batting line-up that, includes skipper Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers, is beginning to fire and that spells danger for Punjab.
