The T20 Blast looks a wide-open competition this year after Derbyshire, 40-1 outsiders ante-post, beat holders Northamptonshire and star-studded Yorkshire in their first two games.

Northants host Yorkshire in the pair's third match of the North Group campaign and the visitors are 8-11 favourites.

It's always dangerous to oppose Northants in the Blast - they have reached three of the last four finals, winning twice - but Yorkshire should have the quality to bounce back from Saturday's three-run defeat to Derbyshire.

The Vikings demolished a strong Nottinghamshire side in their opening game, piling up 227-5 on their way to a 48-run victory at Headingley.

Opener Adam Lyth scored 82 off 50 balls against Notts and followed up with 68 against Derbyshire when the next-highest score in the game was 42.

The left-hander is 4-1 to top-score for the Vikings at Northampton and he has been in good nick in limited-overs cricket, scoring 75 and 52 in his last two One-Day Cup innings.

Shaun Marsh, who made an unbeaten 60 against Notts, is favourite but the Australian is likely to come in at number four and opener Lyth looks better value.
