Opener Finch can continue flying form for Australia

Aaron Finch has been one of few positives for Australia on their limited-overs tour of India and he should be backed at 100-30 to top-score for the Green and Golds in this second T20 in Guwahati.

Finch, who hit the highest international T20 score of 156, headed Austalia's lists with 42 in Saturday's nine-wicket first-T20 reverse in Ranchi and he has been in fine form since returning from injury with a bang, scoring 124 in game three of the 4-1 ODI series defeat to Virat Kohli's hosts.

Finch followed-up that Indore ton with 94 in Bengaluru and was ticking over tidily in the Nagpur 50-over finale too, with 32, before misjudging a lofted drive.

He also amassed 489 runs for Surrey in this summer's T20 Blast with a highlight of 114 not out against Sussex.

India should be swerved at 8-15 to secure the series spoils a game early as the outcome of the toss looks key to the result and there is little relevant venue form to help assess the nature of the pitch.

All six completed October international T20s in India have been won by the chasing side. The Barsapara Cricket Stadium is being given its international bow and hosted three first-class matches last season.

Rain is not forecast to ruin the Assam Cricket Association party but conditions are expected to be muggy.
