Both the Northern Superchargers and the Manchester Originals have plenty of work to do in the men's Hundred and Sunday's Headingley clash looks a must-win if either franchise wants to maintain top-three ambitions.

The Originals made a disastrous start to the 2022 campaign, losing their first three matches, but back-to-back victories have kept them in the hunt and they're narrow favourites to gain a valuable road win.

The Superchargers, who possess an identical 2-3 record, returned to winning ways as David Wiese starred with bat and ball against Birmingham Phoenix on Friday, but they could find it tough to keep Originals captain Jos Buttler at bay.

England white-ball skipper Buttler cracked five sixes in a 42-ball 68 against Southern Brave on Thursday, taking his tournament run tally through the 200 barrier, and he's the logical choice to top-score for the visitors against an attack which has struggled to make early inroads.

In the women's match, Australia's Alyssa Healy will be the star attraction after she showed glimpses of her brilliant best with a 28-ball 46 in the Superchargers' loss to the Phoenix on Friday.

Both teams are locked together on one win from three matches and both desperately need the victory. If Healy and South African international Laura Wolvaardt can fire in tandem, they could have too much for the Originals.
