England head into the third and final one-dayer against New Zealand in Wellington looking for little more than a consolation win after dismal defeats in the first two games.
England have been skittled inside 36 overs twice on their way to four and five-wicket hammerings by the Black Caps and will surely be desperate to fly home with something more positive to cling to.

New Zealand vs England third ODI preview
The guesswork starts again as England prepare for their third and final 50-over scrap against New Zealand.
Battered twice in the first two games to continue a sorry trend it remains hard to know what to expect from Harry Brook's side.
On the face of it, their top six is as powerful as anything out there and they happen to boast two of the great one-day bowlers in Jofra Archer and Adil Rashid.
However, this team's ability to lurch from world-class to Sunday village is mind-blowing and right now they are definitely in the second category, though not, perhaps surprisingly, priced accordingly.
New Zealand have gone through the motions and still managed to breeze into a series-winning 2-0 lead, yet remain outsiders for the clean sweep. Cold-eyed logic says they have to be the selection.
England could come out blazing, post 400 and win by a mile, because they have that in them.
But their top order has been ravaged in both games – they slumped to 10-4 in 5.1 overs in the opener and 29-2 in 5.6 overs in the second – and without a platform and with too many rash shots being played against a well-organised and disciplined Kiwi attack, they have not posted a competitive score.
Maybe chasing would give them more of a chance, though their faults are there for all to see and nine straight away one-day defeats says plenty.
Among New Zealand's many potential match-winners is keeper Tom Latham, who is dependable with gloves and in the middle order and a go-to name in the player-performance market, especially against England.
His performances so far have come in at 54 and 22 but his career player performance make-up is close to 37.
New Zealand vs England third ODI team news and predicted line-ups
New Zealand
A calf strain kept Matt Henry out of the second match though late replacement Blair Tickner would be hard to drop anyway after taking 4-34.
Predicted line-up: 1 Will Young, 2 Rachin Ravindra, 3 Kane Williamson, 4 Daryl Mitchell, 5 Tom Latham (wk), 6 Michael Bracewell, 7 Mitchell Santner (c), 8 Nathan Smith, 9 Zacary Foulkes, 10 Blair Tickner, 11 Jacob Duffy.
England
England have stuck with the same top six and it hasn't worked so Tom Banton should get his chance. Sonny Baker may replace Brydon Carse, with Jofra Archer staying in if he can play back-to-back matches.
Predicted line-up: 1 Jamie Smith, 2 Ben Duckett, 3 Joe Root, 4 Tom Banton, 5 Harry Brook (c), 6 Jos Buttler (wk), 7 Sam Curran, 8 Jamie Overton, 9 Sonny Baker, 10 Adil Rashid, 11 Jofra Archer.
