England's one-day series against Sri Lanka began with a thrilling tie at Trent Bridge but since then the home side have taken control.
Jason Roy and Alex Hales powered England to a ten-wicket victory at Edgbaston, before a washout at Bristol, and Roy’s 162 clinched the series at The Oval on Wednesday night.
It’s a sign of England’s development in one-day cricket that they rarely looked ruffled chasing down 309 in 40.1 overs in the fourth ODI, even with opener Hales unable to bat because of a back twinge.
