Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Delhi Capitals prediction

Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Delhi Capitals have both made strong starts to the IPL season and Thursday's clash at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium should be well worth watching.

All three of RCB's victories have come on the road - at defending champions Kolkata, Chennai and Mumbai - but there were no home comforts for Rajat Patidar's men in the first game at their Bengaluru base.

The Royal Challengers were thrashed by eight wickets against Gujarat Titans, whose fast bowler Mohammed Siraj took 3-19 in four overs against his former team.

Delhi have won three out of three after missing out on the playoffs last term and their Australian paceman Mitchell Starc, an IPL winner with KKR last season, is hoping to add to his tally of nine wickets.

If another pacy pitch is prepared then RCB left-armer Yash Dayal could have a big impact on the game.

Dayal took the key wickets of Rachin Ravindra and Shivam Dube, both bowled, in Bengaluru's win over Chennai and dismissed Mumbai stars Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav in Monday's victory at the Wankhede Stadium.

He failed to strike in the home defeat to Gujarat but conceded only 20 runs in three threatening overs, causing problems for in-form Titans batsmen Sai Sudharsan and Jos Buttler.
