Saturday's IPL predictions
The IPL's two remaining unbeaten sides, the Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings, put their perfect records on the line on Saturday.
Delhi get the ball rolling against five-time champions Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium and they look a spot of value as narrow outsiders.
The Capitals bowling unit, in particular, has looked sharp in the opening rounds with Australian quick Mitchell Starc leading the way.
Starc has claimed eight wickets at just 9.63 runs apiece in Delhi's first two matches and claimed his first T20 five-wicket haul in an authoritative win over Sunrisers Hyderabad last time out.
Chennai certainly have the pedigree but they missed out on the playoffs for just the third time in their history last year and they are already playing catch-up after winning only once in three matches this season.
Even then they made heavy weather of chasing down Mumbai's modest 155-9 and the Super Kings' batting unit has yet to catch light.
That's dangerous given Delhi took eight wickets in their opener against Lucknow and then bowled Hyderabad out. Starc's pace is an obvious threat at the start and end of the innings while India internationals Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav provide them with a dual spin option to help tie down their opponents in the middle overs.
Saturday's second game is tough to call. Punjab's batsmen have made a blistering start, racking up 243-5 against Gujarat and then 177-2 inside 17 overs to chase down their target against Lucknow.
Rajasthan, meanwhile, got off the mark at the third time of asking against Chennai last week and have enough quality in their ranks to challenge the early pacesetters.
