Gujarat Titans vs Rajasthan Royals prediction

Gujarat Titans lost a high-scoring thriller against Punjab Kings by 11 runs in their opening game of the IPL season but they have responded with three impressive victories.

The Titans beat Mumbai Indians by 36 runs before cruising to targets of 170 against in-form Royal Challengers Bengaluru and 153 against Sunrisers Hyderabad, last season's runners-up.

Gujarat's batting let them down last year, when they hit only 67 sixes in 14 matches on their way to an eighth-placed finish.

Bolstered by overseas signings Jos Buttler and Sherfane Rutherford, they have struck 39 maximums in just four games this season and are targeting a fifth win in six matches against Rajasthan Royals.

The Titans beat the Royals in a tense low-scoring final in 2022, when Buttler – who is now with Gujarat – top-scored for Rajasthan.

The Royals conceded 286-6 against the Sunrisers in their opener but they have bounced back well, winning their last two matches against Chennai and Punjab.

However, with scorching conditions forecast in Ahmedabad, Rajasthan may find Gujarat openers Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan, as well as new-ball ace Mohammed Siraj, too hot to handle.

Gill and Sudharsan, who put on 64 in last season's three-wicket win over the Royals, have shared stands of 61, 78, 32 and 15 this term while feisty India paceman Siraj has taken 2-34, 3-19 and 4-17 in his last three appearances.
