England Women vs West Indies Women prediction

The first two women's ODIs between England and West Indies followed a similar blueprint as openers Tammy Beaumont and Amy Jones powered the hosts to matchwinning totals in Derby and Leicester.

Wicketkeeper Jones has relished her promotion in the batting order, smashing 122 and 129 to help England win the first two games by 108 runs and 143 runs.

Backers of Beaumont to top-score may feel a little hard done by as her classy knocks of 107 and 106 were overshadowed by her new opening partner.

However, she should be full of confidence after racking up four centuries in her last six 50-over innings including last month's unbeaten scores of 112 and 116 for Southern Blaze against Hampshire and Essex.

Beaumont is worth backing to lead the way for England at Taunton, where she made an ODI career-best 168 not out against Pakistan in 2016.

The West Indies, beaten 3-0 in the T20 series, are 12-1 to avoid another clean sweep of defeats and they are likely to be missing star all-rounder Hayley Matthews.

Matthews, player of the series in the T20s, is struggling with a shoulder injury but opener Qiana Joseph, who scored 62 in the first ODI, should return after missing the second game due to illness.
