First ODI preview

England Women won their third and decisive Twenty20 encounter with New Zealand with one ball remaining to secure the series 2-1 but must now turn their attention to a five-match one-day-international tussle with the same opposition.

And one player who may be relieved by the change in format is opener Tammy Beaumont.

Beaumont endured an underwhelming maiden campaign in The Hundred, posting only 139 runs in six innings for a struggling London Spirit side.

She also posted scores of three and 13 in the final two T20s with New Zealand, but her knock of 97 in the first match showed promise she could rediscover her former form.

And going into this game Beaumont should take confidence from the fact she was player of the series the last time these two sides played this format, firing 88, 72 not out and 71 in those three games.

She remains a reliable willow-wielder and is a worthwhile bet at 5-2 to get her confidence back and top score for England.
