Match preview

Delhi Capitals were top of the table and Sunrisers Hyderabad were bottom when the Indian Premier League season was suspended in May and a change of venue is unlikely to lead to a change of fortunes for the pair.

Delhi won six of their first eight games in India but they also have good course form in the UAE, reaching last season's final after the IPL was switched to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

The Capitals welcome back key batsman Shreyas Iyer, who missed the first half of the tournament due to a shoulder injury, while several of their star men should feel at home in the UAE.

Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje shared 52 wickets in last year's IPL, Iyer and Shikhar Dhawan were two of the top four runscorers, and spinner Axar Patel had a superb economy rate of 6.41 runs per over.

Sunrisers Hyderabad lost to Delhi in last season's playoff eliminator but have suffered six defeats in seven this term and England's Jonny Bairstow, their leading runscorer, has pulled out of the tournament.
