Sunrisers Hyderabad haven't lost a wicket in the first six overs of their four IPL matches this season and in-form opener Jonny Bairstow could star for the 2018 runners-up against Mumbai Indians.

Bairstow and David Warner have shared stands of 118, 110, 185 and 64 for Hyderabad with the England man overshadowing his Australian teammate in the last two games.

In Hyderabad's last home match, Bairstow struck 114 off 56 balls against Bangalore while his 48 off 28 in a low-scoring contest in Delhi on Thursday was just as impressive given the slow nature of the pitch. Warner crawled to ten off 18 balls in that victory and he could be eclipsed by his teammate again.

While Hyderabad's batsmen are strong starters, Mumbai's home win over Chennai last time out was inspired by a spectacular late show from Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard, who plundered 47 runs off the final two overs of their innings.

But Pollard, Yuvraj Singh, Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock are yet to make major contributions with the bat and, unless their bowlers strike early, Mumbai could be in for a tough night in Hyderabad.

Recommendation
J Bairstow top Hyderabad runscorer
2pts 3-1 Hills
