Royal Challengers Bangalore were skittled for just 68 in Saturday's IPL defeat to Hyderabad and they take on a Rajasthan Royals side whose opener Jos Buttler has scored 116, 103, 54, 13, 70 not out and 100 in his last six innings.

England star Buttler may well feel bullish about his chances of outscoring Bangalore on his own given his stunning start to the 2022 campaign which includes centuries at each of the three Mumbai grounds used in the league stage of the tournament.

He will be hoping to complete a stunning grand slam with a ton in Pune, the other venue for this season's IPL fixtures, where Rajasthan racked up 210-6 in a crushing 61-run win over Hyderabad in their opening game.

Buttler made a modest contribution to that win, scoring 35 off 28 balls, so the rest of the Royals should be confident of avenging this month's loss to Bangalore, who recovered from 87-5 to chase down 170.
