Angelo Mathews could outshine Sri Lanka teammate Tharanga

Sri Lanka held on gamely for a draw in the final Test against India but the tourists are expected to struggle in the three-match one-day series.

They were beaten 5-0 by India in a home ODI series in August and September and a subsequent whitewash against Pakistan extended their losing run to a dozen 50-over matches.

Virat Kohli, who scored 610 runs in five innings in India's Test series success, is rested for the one-dayers but the 3-0 home win is still a shade of odds-on with bet365.

Mathews, who made 111 in the third Test in Delhi, is a consistent ODI runscorer, reaching 20 in 19 of his 23 innings since the start of 2016.

Tharanga, in contrast, has scored 30 or more runs in only 12 of his 40 ODIs against India and looks a vulnerable favourite in the match bet.
