Thomas Pieters posted some poor scores on his way to a finish of 71st in the WGC-HSBC Champions in China last week and his game may not be in the best of shape for this week's challenge in Turkey.

It was the latest in a series of disappointing results the Belgian has posted since he claimed fourth spot at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational at the beginning of August.

The 28th place he earned in the CJ Cup in South Korea was his best performance in his seven subsequent tournaments and he could be eclipsed by Nicolas Colsaerts in what is a match bet for Top Belgian honours.

Colsaerts has experience of the Regnum Carya track, even if his 43rd last year does not provoke many great memories, and he has posted some decent finishes lately with a 12th at the Portugal Masters and 15th last time out in the Italian Open.

Matthew Fitzpatrick is the sort of straight hitter who could flourish in Antalya this week and he has followed his victory in September's European masters with four straight top-15 finishes.

He is worth backing to get the better of fellow Englishman Tyrrell Hatton at 6-5.

Hatton is in great form, finishing 11th in China when Fitzpatrick was ninth and winning the Alfred Dunhill Links and the Italian Open.

He was tenth in last year's tournament and opposing him is a move taken purely on price grounds for what should probably be a your-choice affair.
